We first met up with Megan and Scott on a beautiful crisp morning at their favorite coffee shop in Acton. From their we photographed their engagement session starting at the coffee shop and on to a few of their other favorite spots in town. It was so much fun and so easy to photograph these guys, the love was just oozing off of them we couldn’t help but to keep snapping away.
After hearing about all the wonderful wedding details and getting to know this great couple we could not wait to photograph their big day! We talked about how excited we were in the days to come while we prepared.
The wedding day was just as imagined. It was located on a stunning ranch with beautiful backdrops everywhere. There were so many great details and moments to capture it was a rush to keep up! Please enjoy a few captured moments we would like to share with you from Megan and Scott’s special day.

So thrilled to see the super cute Save the Date postcards Renee and Mario sent out to their friends and family using one of the photos from our engagement shoot with them. Such a cute and creative idea! The back has a little blurb about where the happy couple had their very first date – at a restaurant just up the street from where the photo was taken. Take a look!
Thanks go to Andrea for the awesome design, I love em! The front is matte and the back is high gloss, they look swank. Andrea and Clint customized the photos on the back of their cards to reflect their own shots. We’re all about personalization over here, it’s just usually for the wedding couple!

Getting to know you: Have a pre wedding or engagement shoot! This will give the photographer time to get to know each other and get those in front of camera jitters out. Practice makes perfect!
Speak Up: Most wedding photographers are trained professionals, but they can’t read minds! Let them know if there is something you like, or want to try, be it a pose or style. They are here for you and if they know what you like, then they can create a more memorable experience for your once in a lifetime day.
Know what you like and don’t like: Collect samples and show the photographer. Gather both images you love and hate so they can get a grasp on your personal style.
Communication is key: If there are specific shots or poses you want with specific people write that down for the photographer so they can make sure that it happens, don’t be afraid to tell them what you want. Let the photographer know if you just want traditional posed photos, photo journalistic or love those impromptu special moments.
Keep in Contact: Feel free to contact the photographer anytime if you found a new image you just have to recreate or want to add some new poses or relatives to the shot list. Whatever it is they want to hear from you!
Look your best: Not used to being glam? Today is your day to work it and look your best. Get that confidence out and strut your stuff! This day is about you and the more confidence you have and the happier you are the better the photos will look. This is not the day to be shy!
Makeup it up: Don’t be afraid to add a few shades darker of eye shadow or blush. Photos tend to wash out makeup so if you want your beautiful pro makeup to stand out make a little darker than usual.
Slim and Sultry: I’m sure you’ve already been shaping up for the big day, but if you want to look slender in photos then stand slightly sideways to the camera, with weight on your back foot and your chin slightly up and your shoulders back.
Dress Rehearsal: Get that dress on before the big day and play dress up! Practice posing in the mirror see how your dress flows or looks in different angles. Get comfy and know how it feels you’ll be wearing that sucker all day so makes friends. Practice sitting and walking too you want to feel beautiful and comfortable.
Goof off: Have fun with the photos. If you feel goofy than you are probably having a good time and that happiness and carefree attitude will come through in your photos making them that much better.
Relax!: This is your day to shine! Remember to breathe, relax and enjoy every moment. This day should be full of love and fun don’t forget to relax and smile take in all the hard work you’ve done and be proud!
Remember we are here for you! We want you to love and cherish your wedding photos forever. This day is only going to happen once and there are no do overs.
