Why choose us?

CaliPhotography, which gave way to CaliCreative Studios, was formed in early 2006 with the mission to become the best photographers around. We are a team of like-minded creatives who appreciate top quality and creating art for you, not just “taking photos”. We are a team of artists, inspired by love, light, laughter, and the little things that make our couples unique.

We got our start in motorsports here in Southern California and built a large following of dedicated customers. After countless times being asked if we shot weddings or portraits, we turned our skill set to this fabulous new world of art.

We’re having so much fun with our clients, and they love what we have done, that we’re putting most of our effort into this area of the business.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards or payments through Paypal. There is a 3% transaction fee for payments via this method. We also accept checks and cash.

What area do you cover?
We will travel anywhere in California and even nationally and internationally. If the destination is more than 60 miles from downtown LA, we will charge a very small travel fee.

What equipment do you use?
We use professional Nikon and Canon cameras and lighting gear. We use pro digital SLR bodies combined with top of the line pro series lenses. For lighting, we use Canon and Nikon speedlight flashes and wireless transmitters to create your art. We also bring backup equipment. And backups for the backups. By using pro lenses and bodies, we can capture stunning imagery in any situation.

We have invested over $45,000 in our equipment.

How long until we can view our images in the online gallery?
We get the gallery online as fast as possible for you and your guests to view. It typically takes three to six weeks to process the photographs.

How many images will I receive?
In a typical eight hour wedding, you will receive 700-1300 fully edited and enhanced photographs.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 30% deposit is required to book the date. The remainder is due at least one week before the scheduled date.

Where will our Engagement session be?
Wherever you like, really. We can come to a favorite park, your home, the beach… Where you got engaged is a favorite. The location will fall into our shooting area guidelines, and if further than an hour from downtown LA, will be subject to a small travel charge.

What should we wear for our Engagement session?
Most couples wear something casual. It’s really up to you and your style. We can even do a themed shoot. Call us to discuss possibilities if you’re not sure… there’s always creativity bubbling over here.
